Legislative Outreach

Legislative Outreach is offered each Spring for Counselors to meet with a legislator to learn about the legislative process and get a feel of how to meet with your elected officials during the Legislative Session. It is a great way to learn about the process prior to joining us for the Educator Day on the Hill.

Educator Day on the Hill

On select days during the 2021 legislative session, USCA is inviting school counselor & USCA members join us on the Hill for a day of sharing information with legislators and exposure to the legislative process.
The 2021 dates for Educator Day on the Hill will be posted at a later date.
This is an opportunity to expose our lawmakers to some of our excellent counselors and to provide counselors with a deeper understanding of the political process.

Bills to Watch

You can track bills of interest to you by going to this website: https://le.utah.gov/. The website is updated live so you can keep track on where each bill is in the legislative process.
